The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities produces a number of special events that reflect the interests of the Districts multicultural community and enhances the residents quality of life. We work to ensure that arts and culture are an integral part of city life and are able promote our grantees through the different free events we offer to the community. We provide annual programing such as the Hip Hop Theater Festival, Dance DC and Art Unplugged. We also offer our roving monthly ART(202) Salon – a convergence of artists, techies, green-collars, art enthusiasts, bloggers and educators who are generating the momentum for the new era of art.
