The Senior Services Division is chiefly responsible for providing comprehensive and diversified social, recreational and leisure services for seniors. Such activities were developed as a result of the expressed need of the elderly. The senior programs are designed to enable seniors to actively engage in meaningful recreational activities that reflect a high level of independence and maintenance. As a result, seniors are encouraged to excel to their fullest creative potential.
The Senior Services Division offers a wide variety of services in the area of recreation, socialization, health promotion, transportation and special events. Transportation to and from DPR's various programs and outreach events are provided to encourage seniors to participate in events and activities throughout the city.
