Sat: 8 am – 3 pm
Monthly Household & E-Waste Drop-off/Document Shredding
- First Saturday of the month, 8 am – 3 pm
- First Thursday preceding the first Saturday of the month (except holidays), 1 - 5 pm
- Closed Sundays and Holidays
Directions to Ft. Totten: Travel east on Irving Street, NW, turn left on Michigan Avenue, turn left on John F. McCormack Road, NE and continue to the end of the street.
Service Need
The Department of Public Works makes it easy for residents to dispose properly of solid waste and household hazardous waste, unwanted electronic equipment and personal documents for shredding.
