On August 10, Mayor Williams presented awards to several DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services (FEMS) employees for their life-saving efforts during a recent house fire. At 3:28 am on Sunday July 25, the FEMS employees helped rescue members of the Holt family during a fire at their home on U Street in Northeast.
