Scholarship Program for Foster Care Children Announced

Mayor Williams is flanked by Richard Fairbank, founder of Capital One, and actor Bruce Willis, who joined the Mayor December 6 at Kennedy Recreation Center to announce a national scholarship program to benefit foster care children. Capital One is donating $450,000 for scholarships to be administered by the Children's Action Network and the National Foster Care Fund, founded by actor Bruce Willis. Washington area foster children will receive about 20 percent of the scholarship money.
