Early in the morning of May 7, Mayor Williams addressed a crowd of hundreds of bicyclists who participated in Bike to Work Day 2004, sponsored by the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) and the Council of Governments. Mayor Williams cycled from his home in Northwest to the biking rally at Freedom Plaza.
