Mayor Anthony A. Williams led a delegation of five members of the DC Council and senior executives of the Administration to Asia to further two Sister City agreements between the District of Columbia and Beijing and Bangkok, respectively. In Shanghai October 20, the Mayor met with the Mayor of Shanghai, Han Zhang, at the Municipal Government Hall. Later, the delegation visited a city planning exhibit that included a scale model of Shanghai.
