On Tuesday, April 12, Mayor Anthony Williams welcomed First Lady Laura Bush to the District's Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library, where she read excerpts from The Enormous Egg by Oliver Butterworth to students from Maury Elementary School in Northeast. The First Lady brought along a surprise guest, her dog, Miss Beazley, who is named after a character in the book.
