Saluting a Hero. "Remember, Celebrate, Act: A Day On, Not a Day Off!"

Washington, D.C. – Join Mayor Anthony Williams as he leads the District of Columbia in a celebration of the memory and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Mayor Williams will be joined by D.C. Delegate to Congress, the Hon. Eleanor Holmes Norton; Ward 5 Council Member Vincent Orange; and Council Chairman Linda Cropp, in renewing the District's commitment to Dr. King's dream of a just and equal society. The celebration will be energized by the musical heraldry of the Six School Singers, and the Victorious Praise Singers of Washington, D.C.
