Washington, DC: It's Our Home

The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities and the Smithsonian Institution, present "Washington, DC: It's Our Home," a featured program of the 34th Smithsonian Folklife Festival. Celebrating the culture and diversity of Washington's residents and core communities, "Washington, DC: It's Our Home" invites tourists and Washingtonians alike to experience the rich community traditions that define Washington as a place to live, work, worship, and celebrate. The Folklife Festival runs from Friday, June 23 through Tuesday, July 4, 2000.
