Mayor's Education Town Hall Meeting Will be Audiocast on Internet

Mayor Williams is pleased to announce that his Education Town Hall Meeting on October 10th will be audiocast over the Internet!

The Mayor has committed to making District government more accessible and expanding services available on the District's website, www.washingtondc.gov. On October 10th, the Mayor will give you the chance to make an impact on our city's system of education -- all from the comfort of your home or local library.

Through the audiocast of the Education Town Hall Meeting, you can hear the Mayor's education plans and participate in the event. Before you listen, you can email the Mayor a question about education until 6:00 pm, and he'll answer on Tuesday night.

"How does the Mayor plan to improve our schools? Is the District hiring new teachers and principals? Can I get assistance in paying for college?" This is your chance to Ask the Mayor.

Join us on Tuesday, October 10th at 7 pm for this important education event! Visit the Town Hall Meeting page, click the audio link, and you're part of the District's new e-government.
