Mayor Fenty Hosts 22nd Annual Martin Luther King Holiday Celebration

(Washington, DC) Monday, January 15, Mayor Adrian M. Fenty will host a musical tribute in honor of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the District's 22nd annual citywide observance of the national holiday.  Mayor Fenty will also present two Living the Dream awards at the event.  The 2007 Martin Luther King, Jr. Living the Dream recipients are the DC Boys Choir and Mr. Hal Jackson.  For a complete listing of Mayor Fenty’s and the District of Columbia Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission’s calendar of events, visit the Office of the Secretary's 2007 Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration page.
