The brown column with the "M" identifies Metro stations and show which trains serve the station-blue, green, orange, red, yellow.
To enter and leave the Metro system, you need a farecard or other fare. You can purchase farecards and some passes at machines in every station.
Have change or small bills to buy farecards. There are no change machines in stations.
After buying a farecard, look for gates with green and white arrows. Put your farecard (face up, with the arrow toward the gate) into the slot on the gate's front.
Your farecard will pop out on top of most gates. Take it with you, as you will need it later to exit.
To exit, use your farecard the same way you did to enter. Faregates deduct the correct fare from your card when you exit. Your farecard pops out the top if any money remains.
When you arrive at your destination, use your farecard the same way you did to enter the station. Your fare is automatically deducted from the card when you exit, and your farecard is returned if any value remains.
If you don't have enough money on your card to exit, you can add more at the Exitfare machine.
